CHILLAGOE OBSERVATORY AND ECO LODGE

We had a great 3 days stay here. The facilities and pool were very clean, the owners were most pleasant and helpful. On one of the nights there was a guest muso and we were given free snacks while having a few drinks. Our site was very big, and clearly marked, so we weren't hemmed in by other campers.

Had no real expectations for our outback QLD holiday but was pleasantly surprised. From stepping off the train and being introduced to Chillagoe by host Ian.The cabins were spacious and clean. If it hadn't been for COVID, would of been great to look at the stars in the observatory away from city lights."

We stayed here for one night as part of the Savanahlander tour and really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very helpful, the rooms spacious and comfortable, and the meals very enjoyable. Given the remoteness of the place we felt the hosts did a fantastic job.
